We are - A distributed small farm eco-tourism experience - restoring land, culture, and human connection to nature

Sun, Soil, Spirit supports global awakening through connection to Spirit, Food, and Ancient Knowledge that has been lost in our society under the ever expanding influence of marketing, technology, capitalism, greed, government failure, industrial agriculture, etc. etc. etc. causing a further disconnect from our own human self.

Our Connection to the land and water which gives food, which gives life, has been genetically modified, hidden, stolen, and wrapped in plastic. We evolved to participate and be a part of a balanced ecosystem, thriving with all we need given freely from the land, not the destructive extractive force we have become on the planet.

Return to nature and connect with your food and water. Heal yourself, Heal the planet.

We are the alternative to today’s busy disconnected existence.

Our Vision

We provide a secluded deep nature and food connection experience.

Our primary focus is on small farm soil health and food quality that you can feel through direct experience and taste.  Whether it is a family retreat, an educational offering or a community musical/arts gathering, our events and stays leave lasting impressions and show how small farms and remote nature experiences can provide the inspiration and knowledge to change our current society.  We can heal our planet's destructive food production practices and heal our spirits in the process.

Know your farmer, Know your food, Know your community, Know your Self.  Our Disconnect from food is a grand example and manifestation in today’s world of our disconnect from ourselves.  Join us on our mission to restore healthy living soil food production to our communities one small farm at a time.

One size does not fit all.   Each of our farm, ranch, and wilderness preserve locations brings its own strengths.  We work in harmony with the land to bring sustainable balance.  All locations provide healthy, nutrient dense, high prana seasonal food and connection to pristine natural landscapes.

Sun Soil Spirit builds permanent, low-labor, land-based institutions anchored to rare wilderness access.

THe Bigger

What is a Distributed - Non-Distributed Food Network ???

The goal is small farms close enough to people and population that there is little to no distribution, no packaging.  CSA style farms and networked backyard farms that are sustainable and produce bio-diverse crops to support a community's needs.

It is a return to food in our homes, on our streets, in our neighborhoods where we are.

Stop growing grass, start growing food.  Small farms and production everywhere with a goal of zero large scale distribution.

Large industrial farms producing food at scale and delivering across the world is ridiculously destructive, nutrient deficient, and just isn’t working for the planet or its inhabitants; it is quite literally killing us slowly while destroying our planet’s precious living soil with synthetic fertilizers, pesticides and industrial soil killing practices.

The solution is of course radically simple, we must produce food where we are. Local small scale farms connected through local communities and knowledge.   In today’s connected world we of course can have an App and global network community to support each other.

Food security we can take into our own hands, literally.

Sun Soil Spirit will provide through direct experience a way to feel what it's like to eat fresh organic and seasonally just as our ancestors did.

We provide a return to the farm, a return to our traditional ecological knowledge.

Integration and evolution, not commodification and capitalization is our path forward.

Teach a man to farm and he will be free….. Farming is Freedom.

The United Nations stated as far back as 2010 that the only way to end world hunger is through local food systems. It benefits everybody to have a local food system; all classes, all colors, all religions, all humans.

ZION WOOLDRIDGE

Ecotourism - Farm Rooted Experiences - Investment

 — Founder, Sun Soil Spirit

Zion is a multidisciplinary founder, systems builder, and land-based entrepreneur whose career spans technology consulting, regulated cannabis markets, regenerative agriculture, and farm and infrastructure development. For more than 25 years, Zion has operated at the intersection of complex systems, translating vision into execution across highly regulated, capital-intensive, and operationally demanding environments.

His work is unified by a single throughline: designing resilient systems that endure—technologically, ecologically, and economically.

Sun Soil Spirit: Small Farms, Living Systems, Direct Experience

Zion is the founder of Sun Soil Spirit, a multi-location initiative dedicated to small-farm excellence, land stewardship, hands-on education, unforgettable farm to table events and experiences. The project is intentionally grounded in place, seasonality, and direct experience rather than abstraction or industrial scale.

Sun Soil Spirit is designed to:

  • Showcase what uncompromising land stewardship looks like in practice

  • Offer immersive, hands-on farm and land-based experiences

  • Support food security through diversified, small farm regenerative production

  • Demonstrate small farms as viable, investable, and culturally essential

Guests and participants do not just observe these systems—they work within them, gaining a lived understanding of soil, plants, water, food and medicine production, and custom nature experiences.

Early Career: Systems Thinking in Regulated Environments

Zion earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems in 1998, entering the workforce at the height of the early internet and enterprise software expansion. He worked as a technology consultant to some of the nation’s top law firms, healthcare organizations, and select corporate clients, where precision, compliance, and trust were essential.

This phase of his career shaped Zion’s ability to think in systems and navigate regulated environments—but it is not the center of his story. Rather than pursuing a long-term corporate trajectory, Zion carried forward the lessons of compliance, documentation, risk management, and execution into land-based enterprises and farms where integrity and quality—not scale for its own sake—define success.

This foundation continues to inform how Zion builds small, resilient operations capable of meeting regulatory requirements without sacrificing craft, ethics, or ecological alignment.

Craft Cannabis & Small-Farm Excellence

Zion entered cannabis as a small-farm cultivator and land steward, drawn to the plant not as a commodity, but as a medium for expressing soil health, climate intelligence, and uncompromising quality. Working in California’s most demanding sun-grown environments, he built cultivation systems rooted in living soil, low-input farming, and terroir-driven outcomes.

His approach was formally recognized in 2022, when Zion’s farm was awarded a Top 20 Small Farm designation in California at the Emerald Cup, the highest benchmark for sun-grown cannabis quality. His farm was one of only two selected from Sonoma County, affirming a level of excellence achieved without shortcuts, synthetic dependency, or compromise.

Rather than chasing institutional scale, Zion focused on:

  • Sun-grown, soil-driven cultivation at the highest competitive level

  • Small-farm operational models that preserve quality and sovereignty

  • Compliance as a support structure—not a replacement for ethics

  • Mentoring and advising emerging cultivators seeking craft-level outcomes

This work established Zion as a trusted voice in quality-first cannabis, respected for proving that small farms can set the standard for an entire industry.

Regenerative Agriculture & Land Stewardship

Zion’s cannabis work is inseparable from his broader practice as a regenerative farmer rooted in organic biodynamic practices. His agricultural systems are designed to restore land while producing food, medicine, and seed with exceptional integrity.

His experience includes:

  • Diversified small-farm food systems designed for community nourishment

  • Living-soil management emphasizing biology, mineral balance, and carbon cycling

  • Multi-year crop planning aligned with climate, water, and labor realities

  • Water stewardship, generally including large-scale ponds and gravity-supported landscapes

For Zion, quality is not a marketing term—it is the measurable outcome of ecological alignment over time.

Timber Framing, Infrastructure & Place‑Making

Parallel to his agricultural work, Zion became a timber framer and farm infrastructure developer, designing and building enduring structures that serve both functional and cultural purposes. His projects include barns, greenhouses, workshops, and event‑capable agricultural spaces.

This hands‑on building experience allows Zion to:

  • Control capital costs through integrated design‑build thinking

  • Align structures with land use, climate, and agricultural workflow

  • Create spaces that are both economically productive and experientially powerful

Unlike purely conceptual developers, Zion understands materials, sequencing, and the realities of construction—reducing execution risk for investors and partners.

Leadership Style & Investment Relevance

Zion operates as a founder–steward, combining strategic discipline with hands-on execution. His strengths include:

  • Proven excellence in small-farm, quality-driven production

  • Deep understanding of compliance without institutional dependency

  • Alignment of capital with ecological and cultural values

  • Ability to translate land stewardship into meaningful, revenue-generating experiences

For investors and partners, Zion represents a rare opportunity: backing ventures where quality is the strategy, small scale is a feature—not a limitation—and land is treated as a long-term asset worthy of care.

Closing

Sun Soil Spirit is not a pivot; it is the natural synthesis of decades of experience in systems design, regulated markets, land stewardship, and enterprise building. Zion’s career reflects an uncommon breadth paired with depth—positioning him to lead ecotourism and regenerative ventures that are not only inspiring, but investable, resilient, and scalable.
