Orange Hour was born 17 years ago as a response to years of exploration and growth in music. Funny how that revolving door keeps on going. We never finished the album that we were planning on changing our lives. I moved to California to find the money needed to push a band to the stratosphere. I thought I had the songs, the funding and the knowledge to push the band to the stars. And I was wrong about all of it. There are 2 original members, Gorilla Ant and AlienHands89 aka Darrell Bevins and Niko. It isn't about money, fame or accolades. Its about the music and it always has been.

In 2010 Orange Hour was showcasing for industry execs and it was increasingly obvious we were going to have to self promote which is very expensive. Check out the old videos below to see where it all started.
Well this is the very beginning. We were a 3 piece band for 6 months. I wanted the lead guitar and eventually a DJ to hide my voice or make the sound bigger was the spoken reason.
Niko has always liked this version. I have not. In 2009, I was at the studio alone and recorded this tune to show the band. The video took me a week to put together. We didn't have a budget. And the tune was just a demo. It will be out on an acoustic album 2026!
